Rules and Regulation

Entry Conditions

  1. 1. Capturing Climate Change is open to all students and staff (teaching and non-teaching) from all secondary schools, junior colleges and tertiary institutions and the NUS alumni.

  2. 2. Entries must be submitted latest by 20 August 2008, 2359 hours, via email to greencarnival2008@gmail.com.

  3. 3. All entries must be accompanied by a title, a short description (50-100 words) and the name, age, occupation and institution of the participant..

  4. 4. Each participant is allowed to submit up to 2 entries.

  5. 5. Entry/Entries submitted must be taken by the participant.

 

Digital Image

  1. 1. Photography submission must be in .JPG format and of reasonable size (between 1 and 10 megabytes).

  2. 2. Both colour and monochrome images are allowed.

  3. 3. Minimal digital enhancement (e.g. colour enhancement, cropping) is allowed. However, adding or removing key elements of the composition is strongly discouraged and may not be accepted for judging. Excessively manipulated photos will be disqualified.

  4. 4. Participants must be the sole legal and beneficial owner of all intellectual property rights to the photos.

  5. 5. Entries submitted must not have won prizes in other competitions.

  6. 6. All images will be considered submitted and final after submission. Further changes will not be entertained.

  7. 7. Entries that contain pornography or are against public interest will be disqualified and may be reported to the relevant authorities.

 

Competition

  1. 1. NUSSU SAVE will not be liable to any errors or failures occurred during the submission of the photos.

  2. 2. NUSSU SAVE will not be held legally responsible for any conflict involving copyrights of images submitted.

  3. 3. NUSSU SAVE and City Developments Limited reserve the right to reproduce and distribute the entries in any media now or hereafter known, including, but not limited to: a roving exhibition and publication of book featuring selected entries.

  4. 4. NUSSU SAVE reserves the right to amend the Rules and Regulations without prior notice.

  5. 5. By submitting the photos, the participant accepts the Rules and Regulations as laid down by NUSSU SAVE.
